Tipsy me.....

How many fingers??

The dinner wasn't perfect but the white wine was gorgeous. I felt I was a bit tipsy and then baby poured more wine for me.... I was drunk. lol I kept laughing and hubby was talking a lot. It was very funny!

Mummy cooked 3 lovely dishes and she also bought some roast meat for us. I loved scrambled eggs with tomatoes & this one most.

Actually, I like cauliflowers very much but you won't see me cook them at all because hubby doesn't eat them. He is quite a picky eater. lol

Going to catch the 4:30pm slow ferry then meet up with sister in TST.

We are going to our parents' together.

So looking forward to seeing them and the dinner tonight.

De Cecco Spinach Pasta

Normally we get Barilla or Colavita pasta but I saw this one in Citysuper. I knew that I had to get it. :P It looks yummy to me. haha And it's true. I just had it. :P
ho ho mei ahhhhh!!! Even though siu siu 貴 but 好味 ah. I had it with cuttle fish balls.
Sausage spinach pasta is for baby. :0)

I really love Risotto. I think I can have it every day.

Got the e-tickets

I was busy checking the UK train and bus tickets online last night.
All seemed too expensive but luckily I found early bird coach tickets.
Now, we only paid 8 pounds for 2 of us. :) Great deal!
The journey takes about 4 hours.

I tell you what...
The cheapest one-way train ticket I found was 40 pounds per person!
Scary!
It costs just a bit more to go to Paris or Belgium by Eurostar!
But I don't like Paris. lol

Everything was great apart from the fish and mixed veg dishes.
I didn't take photos.

Crispy chicken was very tender and delicious.
We all loved it. Mum was very pleased with the meal.
That's the most important thing. :)

Something funny happened........

Something funny happened on the MTR tonight.

It was too funny. hahaha :) I can't tell u what it was about though..... ohohoho

We had dinner with family at Star of Canton Restaurant.
It was for my mum's birthday. She is 72 years young. :) oh and my dad is 82!!
He doesn't look it at all!!!!!!

Mum's birthday dinner this Sunday.

The new pair of jeans I got from OZOC are great.
They go really well with most of my tops.
Also... my bum doesn't look big in them which is good. ha ha

We are knackered...........

Today, we went for yum cha in Kennedy Town.
Food was great as usual.
I really miss going there for yum cha.
It's the best. At least for us. :)

We went to Souxie's place for a chat in the afternoon.
Then Hubby and I went to my sister's place. I gave her the stickers
and she gave me a discount card. ohohoho Lovely!
what a nice swap! :D

We went to Genki for sushi. Their soft-shelled crab hand roll was delicious!
Smoked salmon was really nice as well. ^^
After dinner, we went to the cinema and watched 300.
It was OK but not fantastic! We think it's overrated to be honest.
Anyway, it's just our opinion. :)

I love their chocolate muffins, croissants and sandwiches. :)

Rubbish Company!

Just checked my email and saw the landline e-bill. I got a shock from it.
How come it's so expensive?
I called them up and was told that our contract's finished.
And that's why they used the normal price straight away without telling me beforehand!!!
What the.....!
How dare them!!!!!

Anyway, everything's fine now as I told them off. ha ha
And they got me a new deal
which is not bad at all.

Ohhh hubby just called. He got a router!!!! ho yeah!

Old Mailbox on Lamma

I had a little walk earlier. The weather wasn't very nice today. It was cloudy and humid and very warm. I think we need to get a dehumidifier soon because It will get even more damp in April.

Everything in the flat will be wet. lol Not good!

Goodbye My Lappy!

When I was still in bed this morning, I heard the iron man's handbell goes ding ding ding ding.....

So, I got up straight away and went down to sell my laptop to him.
He offered me HK$50.
I said OK and sold it to him.

I remember when I bought my laptop in year 2000. I paid HK$22000 for it. Now It is only worth $50. Bloody hell!!

Anyway, I have made good use of it.
I used it nearly every single day since I had it. :) It was a great lappy!

Finally, we've got our plane tickets sorted out. Both the UK and Istanbul flights.
We will be flying to London in the middle of May and staying there for a night.

Today, I got a good deal from Priceline. You know the name your own price thingy.
I put HK$500 for a 4-star hotel room in London airports. They sent me an email back saying
Congratulations!
We are going to stay at London Marriott Hotel Heathrow. WooHoO!!!! Wicked Wicked:D
I only paid around HK$650 for the room with taxes and processing fee. Not bad? :)

Still looking for a good one with yummy breakfast and great location.

Dinner at Bookworm Cafe 南島書蟲

This is Bookworm Cafe 南島書蟲. They only serve non-meat dishes.
We went there for dinner last night. Food was very fresh and tasty, the portion was generous and service was OK. We felt pretty comfortable in there. It was very homely.

I want to try their tofu burger with chips and cheesecake next time. :D
