Typhoon No. 3

The Strong Wind Signal, No. 3 is in force.

This means that winds with mean speeds of 41 to 62 kilometres per hour are expected.

At noon, Severe Typhoon Megi was estimated to be about 440 kilometres east-southeast of Hong Kong (near 21.4 degrees north 118.3 degrees east) and is forecast to move north or north-northeast at about 10 kilometres per hour gradually edging closer to the coast of eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian.

In the past few hours, Megi continued to move north-northeast towards the coast of eastern Guangdong and southern Fujian. The winds near its centre have slightly weakened. On its present track, Megi will maintain a distance of about 400 kilometres from Hong Kong today and tomorrow. Although the Severe Typhoon is expected to weaken gradually, the Strong Wind Signal No. 3 will remain in force for some time.

As Megi approaches the south China coast, it is expected that the water level in Hong Kong will rise to around half to one metre above the normal (i.e. around 3 metres above the Chart Datum) before midnight tonight. Minor flooding may occur in some low-lying areas.

Funny thing....

Yesterday, I was testing Olay super cream on my hand at Mannings drugstore. This saleslady came to me and said... that cream will be too rich for me since it's for women who are 30 and above. lol

I said to her...I am over 30. She was well shocked and said I don't look it. lol hahahahaha

She's made me quite happy. hahahahaha

羊肉炒飯 Lamb Fried Rice

After the movie, I went to Citysuper and bought some minced lamb. :) I made fried rice with it for our dinner tonight. ^^ I loved it a lot. So did hubby! ho ho ho Yummy!

Finally.... I got around to watching Inception! :D

I watched it at Palace IFC by myself.

I think this movie is absolutely amazing. So exciting and very different. I want to watch it again. :) Even though, it's two and a half hours long! :D

Hubby just sold a hi-fi to a Canadian guy a few days ago. I bumped into him and his gf at the cinema. They were sitting next to me. LOL I said to him that's freaky! He said amazing. lol
