Roast Paprika Chicken

Very tasty! :P Hubby loved it a lot. I liked it too but it was a bit troublesome to clean the greasy baking tray. I used loads of paper towels to clean it. :P

I will make it again though! hahahaha

Rainy Day

I waited for 15 mins but it was still pissing it down. I decided to walk home in the rain with a plastic bag as cover.

The weather looks lke it's going to be pretty bad for the next few days.

We went to the dentist today!

We took the 10:30am ferry this morning. :) Super early for us! lol! I had a sticky rice roll (粢飯) for breakfast. It was very delicious! ^^ Hubby had a few bites too. hahaha His breakfast was a Danish roll. So western! I am so Chinese! HAHAHA

Got to the dentist on time but had to wait for 35mins since there were a few elderly people. The dentist said they asked lots of questions and so she had to spend time explaining things to them.

We found out the cha chaan teng 茶餐廳 that we used to go to is no longer there. :( We were so upset but... we found a new place to go for yummy bo lo baau or 菠羅油. Their milk tea was great too, fried rice was nice but not excellent. :)

We will definitely go there for bo lo baau again! yum yum! The guy who sat at the same table as ours was having stir fried beef rice noodles which looked really good. I think I will have that next time! :P

Mummy is back home!

Mummy left the hospital in the afternoon. She came back home with Henry. She looked a bit tired. The doctor told her to eat carefully. Basically, no salt since she had too much of it in her diet and her blood pressure was way too high. It was over 200. Her heart can't take it and also it's getting weaker.


Hope mum is behaving now. :( But..she doesn't seem to worry about it. She says she eats what she likes. She is quite naughty, isn't she?

The weather forecast was wrong again! It's turned out nice today! ^^ YEAH!

Anyway, no rain at all. It's sunny and dry outside. It's looking gorgeous! ;D

The Birds are tweeting. It sounds so nice and relaxing! ^^

I hope the weather will be great tomorrow! :D Then we can do some hiking.

Wow the food was very very good. We all enjoyed it so much! :D We had spring rolls, shrimp patties, curry beef brisket, some veggies, fried soft-shell crabs and yummy fried rice. ^^ Oh.. they had a lot of beer as well since they are aussies! hahahaha I only had a little bit. :)

Chicken & Cabbage Pie

Tonight...I didn't want to cook rice or pasta or noodles. So, I thought I would cook something different. :P This is what I made for our dinner. It's a chicken and cabbage pie! :P It tasted delicious! ^^ I used this recipe. But I didn't follow it completely.

I had half of it and saved half for hubby! :D Hope he will like it. ho ho ho

This just in..... hubby said 12 out of 10! WOW WOW WOW That's amazing!

Smoked Salmon & Cheese Pizza

It was very easy to make this mountain bread pizza. :D We loved it. It was yum yum! I used 4 slices of mountain bread, some pizza sauce, aged sharp cheddar cheese, light cheddar cheese, smoked salmon and some herbs. :D I baked it for 20 mins!! ^^

Yum Cha at Maxim's Palace City Hall

Good food and nice decoration in there. :)

This restaurant still serves dim sum from trolleys which is super rare in Hong Kong. Lots of tourists love this place!

After we had yum cha, we went to H&M with them and then we went for a coffee at Pacific Coffee. It was too stuffy in there. And my cappuccino didn't taste very nice. Now...I know why hubby and I stopped going there. lol

We took them to Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Saw some cheeky monkeys! They were so cute! :p There was a mini one which was from Brazil. The size of it was like my middle finger. I would like to keep one as a pet. HAHAHA

New Toaster

Our old toaster broke after 7 years and we bought a new one from Fortress the other day. It's by Tefal.

Hope this one is just as good as the old one. :)

Actually, I think our oven does a better job for toasting bread since the heat is more even but it takes a lot longer than a toaster.
