Beef Fried Rice with Basil Leaves

I found this lovely recipe on efooddepot.com. I made this dish last night and I really liked it. :) Hubby said it was 5 stars! Woohoo! Yum yum!

INGREDIENTS

* 2 tablespoons oil
* 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
* 3 small fresh red chillies, finely chopped
* 1 tomato, chopped
* 1/2 cucumber
* 110g minced beef
* 2 tablespoons fish sauce
* 1/2 teaspoons sugar
* 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
* 225g boiled fragnant rice.html">rice
* 1 small onion, sliced
* 20 holy basil leaves

DIRECTIONS

* In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil and fry the garlic until golden brown. add the chillies and minced beef and stir quickly to mix. add the fish sauce, sugar and light soy sauce. stir-fry until the beef is cooked through.
* Add the cooked rice and stir thoroughly. add the onion, tomato and basil leaves, stirring quickly. turn on to a serving dish and serve.
