Eastern Promises

It's been freezing cold here. Now.. it's only 8 degrees outside and about 10 degrees at home. I have my heater on but it doesn't make much difference. I am using it to dry our clothes. :)

The other night, I was watching Eastern Promises. It's pretty good.

The film tells of a British midwife's interactions with the Russian mafia in London and stars Viggo Mortensen and Naomi Watts. Principal photography began November 2006, in locations in and around London. The film has been noted for its shocking plot twist and for its violence and realistic depiction of the Russian criminal underworld, including its use of tattoos.
