Cats are home

Woohoo...we collected our cats today. They look the same. I mean...they didn't get fatter or slimmer but they are a bit clumsy. :p When they got home, they were sniffing around the flat for a while.

I think the cats missed us a lot because they were very affectionate to us. :D We are very happy that they are back home. :)

Roger's student and his family came round to our place this afternoon. They chatted with me a lot but not much with Roger. LOL Hubby needs to learn more Cantonese. :) ho ho ho! We went out for Japanese food with them. It was nice. :)

Got home!

We got home around 7pm. Unpacked our stuff and cleaned up the flat a bit. I didn't see any mould this time. WOOHOO!! So happy. hahaha

Hubby ordered a pizza from Best Kebab. We had it for dinner. It tasted OK.
We miss the fantastic pizza from Korcula. :P

The Wrekin

We got up and had our breakfast. The weather looked fantastic, so we decided to go out for a hike. Dad drove us to The Wrekin. The path was a bit steep but dry. So it was fairly easy for us. hahaha It took us less than an hour to get up to the top including stopping and faffing around. :)

I was wearing my new walking boots today. I think they are better than my Merrell boots. :D

Wales

Finally, the weather got better. Ho Yeah!!!!

We went to Wales for a day out. First we went to Berriew for a coffee stop and a walk around. Then we headed to Carno via lots of narrow lanes before arriving at Llyn Mawr. We had a lovely picnic there.

After that, we went to Llanidloes. Had a little walk around the town and then we drove to Llyn Clywedog and took some photos of the beautiful reservoir .

Finally, we had a little walk in Hafren Forest along the start of the River Severn which was fun. :)

A walk....

We went out for a walk this afternoon but we didn't see that lovely horse which we saw two years ago. Maybe we can try and find him next time. :)

The weather was a bit warmer than yesterday. :)

Hello :D

Broadway Village & Cheltenham

We went to Broadway Village for a walk around. We had our lunch at The Old White Lion Hotel in Winchcombe. The food was very good. Me and hubby had Lamb Rogan Josh. the meat was very tender. Mmm..... yum yum! Mum & Dad had beef stew which was also very nice. :)

After our yummy lunch, we then drove to Cheltenham. Had a little walk around Montpellier Gardens. We sat down on a bench and watched the kids practising their skateboarding skills. :p

Leominster

It was raining quite a bit while driving to Leominster. But...by the time we got there, it stopped raining! Woohoo! :D happy happy!

We then went to the Best Western Talbot Hotel for lunch. We all had roast of the day and it was great! :D

We had a look around Weobley Village and went to an empty church before going home.

Roger had rump of lamb. It was delicious!


Mum had duck with pineapple and ginger sauce. It was also very nice.


Dad had lamb shank. He enjoyed it a lot.


I had sausages and mash. It was fantastic! :D

Dorothy Clive Garden

We got lucky with the weather this afternoon :). We went to see the Dorothy Clive Garden in Shropshire. There were lots of beautiful flowers, plants and trees. I loved those big tulips. They are one of my favourites. :)

We had yummy scampi and chips for dinner tonight. :o)

We are in the UK now

We went to Chester today. :) The weather wasn't very nice but at least it didn't rain. lol

Had lunch inside the church today. ^^ I had meat balls with veggies. Not bad.

Croatia and Slovenia

We spent 16 days travelling in Croatia and Slovenia. Everything went smoothly. :D Yeah!

4 nights in Dubrovnik
We had a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view of the old town. It was absolutely amazing! But 1 day we had bad weather.

3 nights on Korcula
We think Korcula is more beautiful than Dubrovnik. :) We want to go back and see more of it. It's a romantic island. ^^ Beautiful sunset and lovely people and the crystal clear water. We miss Korcula!!!!

A day trip to Hvar from Korcula by ferry
Gorgeous place. We took lots of photos there. :D The weather was great. Yummy ice-cream and coffee and cakes!!!. :) Loads of coffee bars and yachts. It was very relaxing to just sit there in the sun. People aren't so friendly though if you compare them to the ppl in Dubrovnik and Korcula.

1 night in Split
Our apartment was inside the Diocletian's Palace. The decoration was really nice. Great location. We had a yummy breakfast at a hotel restaurant on the Riva Waterfront.

2 nights near Plitvice lakes
We didn't get a room before we got there. The bus driver dropped us off at the right place. There were lots of zimmer zimmer, sobe and rooms. :P We found a good one. It was near ST2 and about 20 mins walk to the entrance.

The room was only 40 euros a night with breakfast! Great deal. :)

We checked out the beautiful Plitivce lakes and managed to see all of them. It took us about 8 hours. :) Had a lovely picnic there.

3 nights in Zagreb
Beautiful apartment but ppl weren't so so. :p lol Not much to write about. HAHA Oh...I got some nice cheap jewellery there which I like. :)

2 nights in Ljubljana
We had a day trip to Lake Bled. It was so beautiful there. We got lucky with the weather. It was sunny but not too hot. Great for hiking. We saw the Julian Alps. :D#

We walked around the lake and then took a bus to Vintgar Gorge. Hubby was very happy to be there and we took tons of crazy photos and videos there. We walked back to Bled before the sun went down. We took the last bus back to Ljubljana after dinner.
We didn't go to the famous cake shop. :( We need to go back for sure! :)

Okay.. enough for now.
I put on 3kgs. :(
