Earthquake in Taiwan

Finally, I can check my gmail today!! We couldn't surf the non-local web sites for the past 4 days because of the earthquake in Taiwan affected the undersea optical cable. But now I still can't go on MSN for some reason.

We went out for a curry with Chon and his mate in Soho tonight.

Sausages and Mash for Dinner Tonight

I cooked bangers and mash for our dinner tonight. It was very nice. We both loved it a lot. I will make it again. Don't worry Roger! haha

I bought the Cumberland sausages from park n shop supermarket.

I followed this recipe.

The weather is lovely today. :) Look at the blue sky. It's so beautiful. I love it. Hope it's like that all the time. ^^ Am I being a bit greedy or what? :p

I called my sister around 3pm today but her mother-in-law said she just fell asleep. I bet she must have been very knackered from feeding the baby and not getting enough sleep.

I hope she will recover soon and be a pretty mama. :)

Girlie Chat.....

Winnie and me met up at the tofu fa place this afternoon. I took her to the romantic place. ha ha We watched the sunset together. It was nice. Then, I went to her place and had dinner. Her maid cooked for us. The food was quite yummy and spicy. I loved it. :)

We watched ANTM on youtube together. I came home around 11pm.

My first mince pie!

I just had my first mince pie! It tasted GREAT! ha ha I bought 2 packs of mince pies for my hubby. Now we can actually enjoy them together. Ho Ho Ho Fantastic!

The Best Hainanese Chicken Rice I've Had

I went to Taikoo Shing with my Hubby today. He was working and I was looking around the shopping mall. Checked out some shops but didn't buy anything.

I went to the food hall and ordered a tea set. I had the best Hainan Chicken Rice 海南雞飯 I've had!!! It came with soup and some salad. The rice was so tasty. It was much better than what I had in Singapore.

I went to see Mei Mei and her baby girl. :o) She is very tiny and cute.

My sister gave birth to a little girl this morning!!

Yay!!! Congratulations!! She weighed 7.1 lbs. I am very happy for my sister. :-)

I bet it was very windy last night. One of my t-shirts got blown away by the wind.

It landed on the grass outside our neighbours downstairs. My hubby was very kind to pick it up for me. ha ha ha

Home-baked Wholemeal Bread & Broccoli and Cheese Soup

I prepared the dough last night but baked it this morning. Making the dough is quite a bit of work but well worth it as It tastes so good. We both had fresh wholemeal bread for breakfast today. ^^ We had it with mozzarella & basil.

I went out for a walk this afternoon. It was very nice and quiet as it was on a weekday. I think It would be good fun to play beach volleyball there but I haven't played in years and years. :p hehe Who wants to join me? Maybe we can play together!

Dodgy Stomachs

We went to Lung Kong for dinner last night. We ordered fried rice, mapo tofu and a big bottle of beer. Our mapo tofu was sent to the wrong table which was next to ours and the bad thing was the clumsy waiter dropped half of the food on the table. I was hoping that they wouldn't put the food from the table back in the dish. But I think they did.... because we both had dodgy stomachs this morning. Aiya.............
