Our BA flight from Budapest to London was delayed for an hour. When we saw the display board.. we were like WTF and started thinking of what to do because we were going to catch the coach at Victoria station in London. We weren't going to get it on time for sure. :(
By the time we got to Victoria coach station, it was nearly 11pm already. :( We had to buy tickets again and had to wait for the coach.
Finally....We got on the one at 11:15pm but we needed to change it in Birmingham.
When we got to Birmingham, we were waiting for another coach and it was nearly 4am already. There was no coach coming as the staff told us. So at the end....they called a cab for us and they paid for it which they should have anyway!
The Indian cab driver was very funny. He was making jokes and chatting with us and saying the road was quiet and there must be some ghost around and shit like that. lol
He definitely made our journey more interesting. By the time we got to parents'home, I could see the day light because it was 5ish. LOL
We took 10 hours to get home from Budapest. Quite scary! So memorable!
